July 7, 2021 – Beirut: areeba sal, one of the leading financial technology companies in the Middle East, and Mastercard have announced the launch of “ViaCard”, a new payment card that offers Lebanese citizens a convenient and secure way to pay for their purchases in US Dollars. The card can be used for international spending and online shopping across international websites.
ViaCard caters to Lebanese citizens who wish to travel for leisure, medical, educational, or business purposes, and for those who have children studying abroad. It is perfectly suited for those who wish to transact online through international websites, whether for shopping, registering in an educational course or buying entertainment applications. The card does not need to be linked to a bank account and gives users a smart and seamless way of carrying foreign currency without any restrictions on usage. Further benefits are offered through LibanPost, which include card delivery to a home address, card bill payment, and cash withdrawals at all LibanPost locations.
